Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Video Producer to join our Studio team. This individual will own the entire video production process, from initial conception to delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh, innovative approach to our projects, constantly seeking new ways to engage audiences and tell compelling stories through video.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire video production process, from working with copywriters on scripts to production, post-production, and delivery.

• Bring a creative approach and out-of-the-box thinking to studio projects.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media content, innovative filmmaking practices, and technological advancements happening in the industry.

• Have a collaborative mindset and work on a team with other Studio members and various contractor partners.

• Be professional and personable in working with the Primitive team and our clients.

• Have the ability to meet deadlines and work within client budgets.

• Get up to speed with various clients, have a working knowledge of their brand goals, and be able to apply your video production skills to help achieve those goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a video producer, preferably in a lead role.

• A working knowledge of professional film equipment, including cameras, audio gear, lighting equipment, gimbal, etc.

• Experience working on different types of video projects, primarily long-form video content, but also short-form “reels” for social media.

• Experience shooting, lighting, and recording onsite interviews.

• Experience recording voiceovers and directing voice talent.

• Experience working with LOG footage & color grading.

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro & Adobe Audition.

• Basic knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.

• Basic knowledge of photography and photo editing.

• A portfolio showcasing a range of work, including examples of various cinematography techniques and editing styles.
