+ DESIGN
This website was exciting because there was no industry precedent. NIL was brand new, an emerging part of the college athletics industry. We knew this website needed to reflect the best of the Texas Tech college athletics and fan experiences: the passion, the hype, the romantic and mysterious masked rider, the scarlet and black.
Our branding, design, website strategy, and copy teams worked collaboratively on this site. We had a two-fold goal: educate on what NIL was and how it would benefit student-athletes and communities and create a sustainable fundraising model. We also wanted the site to be eye-catching and express the energy of the in-person TTU athletic experience. This site design isn't built on a grid, making it feel active for the website visitor. The copy conveys the love not only for sports, but West Texas that TTU fans and students are known for.
