To bring the Powered by LBK brand to life, our video strategy focused on challenging outdated perceptions of Lubbock and reintroducing it as a vibrant hub of diversity, opportunity, and growth. We wanted the video to feel big—cinematic and heartfelt—so we combined sweeping city visuals with intimate moments that reflect the soul of the community.

 

Multiple voice-over actors representing different ages and backgrounds helped us capture a chorus of authentic voices. We blended sourced footage and original scenes from across the city to showcase Lubbock’s beauty from every angle.

 

The result was a bold and emotional campaign that united and inspired—a true celebration of what our hometown stands for. 

+ SCRIPT WRITING & VIDEO PRODUCTION

The scriptwriting process was a labor of love, led by our Lubbock-based copywriter who deeply understands the city’s heartbeat. From the beginning, our goal was to write something that would resonate with longtime locals and first-time visitors alike. 

Our videographers captured footage across Lubbock—from bustling downtown scenes to quiet, sunlit moments in local neighborhoods—while also sourcing visuals that highlighted the city’s depth and diversity.

The video quickly became a centerpiece of the campaign, driving engagement, sparking local pride, and redefining what it means to call Lubbock home.

 

The project was honored with both a Gold ADDY and the prestigious Judges' Choice Award—proof that powerful storytelling, when rooted in authenticity, leaves a lasting impact.
